I said YES!

A couple of months ago I wrote to you about my story of finding love after struggling with it for years. I mentioned how life was definitely interesting to say the least.  And I talked about how everything truly happens for a reason. You might not totally understand, perhaps you fight it… but eventually it will happen regardless of how you thought it would happen.

Well… my significant other (and his kids!) proposed to me last weekend. It was totally unexpected and I love that it was. It was a very special evening for all of us.

I look back on the past few years, months, days… and all I see is a whole lot of awesome. Seriously. The way I’ve evolved personally and professionally has truly been amazing. I’m so blessed… and I know it had a lot to do with my fiance and his children.

I’m so lucky to be where I am today. I’m incredibly happy and thrilled to be marrying someone that loves me unconditionally. And someone that I want to take care of the rest of my life. When they say you’ll know when it’s right… you really do. I’m a firm believer in it now-a-days.
